Pumpkin Rice Krispie Treats {The Stories of A2Z}

by Erin, The $5 Dinner Mom on October 20, 2011

Seriously. Now seriously.

This is just too creative. I volunteered to bring goodies to the boys’ fall parties this year. And I think these will be a hit!

And you can make them with the new gluten free Rice Krispies too!

Can’t get enough of these Pumpkin Rice Krispies Treats from The Stories of A2Z!

they look awesome. how do you not get the sticky mess all over? also all rice crispies are glutten free. just another marketing tool to get you to buy.

Rice Krispies have always been gluten free. I grew up gluten free and we always ate rice krispies. It frustrates me that companies are slapping the Gluten Free Label on there so they can charge more money.

These do look like fun.

I agree Kate. It’s annoying.

My daughter has to eat gluten-free. The last time I checked regular Rice Krispies had malt flavoring in them, and that is not gluten-free. The gluten-free ones do not have the malt flavoring in them. I have a box of them in my pantry.

Not to rain on your parade, but are you allowed to bring homemade snacks to school parties? We have been expressly told only to bring store-bought items, nothing can be made at home and then brought. :(
I’m totally making these for my friend’s Halloween party though! :)
