The $5 Dinners Weekly Meal Plan with Printable Grocery List

Scroll down and you’ll see a list of ingredients for each of the recipes included, in the order they are listed above. I’ll include ALL ingredients, including many that you already have in your pantry, refrigerator, or freezer. If you have those ingredients, just don’t click them!

Stovetop Mac ‘n Cheese

3 cups elbow or other small shell pasta
3 cups whole milk (I wouldn’t use skim, but 2% would probably give similar creaminess)
1 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
Couple dashes of nutmeg
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Parsley or basil for garnish
Side of fresh fruit or veggies

Dutch Oven Beef Roast with Onions

1 Tbsp olive oil
1 ~1.25 lb. beef chuck roast
4 small white onions
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp basil leaves
Frozen vegetables
Half bag Sister Schubert’s rolls

Ginger Peach Glazed Tilapia

1 1/2 cup brown rice
6 tilapia fillets, about 1.5 lbs.
1/4 cup peach preserves
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp ground ginger
1 package frozen broccoli

BLT Sliders with Parmesan Mayo

1 package turkey bacon
1 package Sister Schubert’s dinner rolls
2 small tomatoes
4 lettuce leaves
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Chips and fresh fruit for serving

Southwestern Egg in a Basket

8 eggs
8 small flour or corn tortillas
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Serve with fresh fruit

Ham & Potatoes Saute with Baked Eggs

1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 bag (28 oz.) frozen diced Potatoes O’Brien (or 3 cups diced gold potatoes)
2 cups ham, diced (or 2 chicken and apple sausage links, diced)
4 eggs
Dash of Italian seasoning for serving
Side of fresh fruit

Waffle Iron Cookies

Use your favorite cookie dough recipe or:

Gluten Free No Bake Energy Bites

1 1/2 cups gluten free rice krispies (or you can use regular quick cooking or GF quick cooking oats too)
2/3 cup peanut butter (any nut butter will do)
1/3 cup honey
1 cup shredded coconut flakes
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
about 3/4-1 cup mini chocolate chips
