The $5 Dinners Weekly Meal Plan with Printable Grocery List

Scroll down and you’ll see a list of ingredients for each of the recipes included, in the order they are listed above. I’ll include ALL ingredients, including many that you already have in your pantry, refrigerator, or freezer. If you have those ingredients, just don’t click them! Put a check mark by each of the ingredients, and then print your grocery list and be on your way to the grocery store!

Chicken Fajita Nachos

2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
1 Tbsp olive or vegetable oil
2 or 3 peppers
1 large onion
1 Tbsp homemade taco seasoning, or store bought fajita seasoning
Tortilla chips
1 cup shredded cheese
Salsa, sour cream, guacamole, optional toppings
Fresh fruit, baby carrots or other simple side dish

Mango Avocado Orzo Salad

1 cup of orzo pasta
1 ripe mango (How to Choose and Cut a Mango)
1 ripe avocado (How to Choose and Cut an Avocado)
about 2 to 3 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
2 limes
about 2 Tbsp store bought or homemade vinaigrette
Optional: Protein boost with diced grilled chicken

Pizza Penne Bake

1 lb. pasta noodles, such as penne, ziti, mostachioli or other “medium” shaped noodle
3/4 cup pizza sauce
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
About 30 pepperonis
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
About 1 cup pizza blend shredded cheese

Tilapia with Pan Roasted Tomatoes & Pesto Sauce

4 tilapia filets
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes
2-3 Tbsp store bought or homemade pesto sauce
Side dish – bread, brown rice, quinoa and veggies

Marinated Pork Chops and Barbecued Potatoes

5 medium potatoes
1 large onion
6 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon butter
2-3 pounds pork chops
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons vinegar
Montreal steak spice (to taste)

Buffalo Chicken Blue Cheese Enchiladas

2 chicken breasts, or 2 cups shredded chicken
Frank’s hot sauce
4 oz. blue cheese crumbles
12 corn tortillas
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp homemade taco seasoning
2 cups Mexican blend shredded cheese
Side of veggies…we had frozen green beans

Orange Cardamom Blueberry Crostada

1 Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust
1/2 cup Smucker’s Orchard’s Finest Pacific Grove Orange Marmalade Medley
2 tablespoons Pillsbury BEST All Purpose Flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
2 cups fresh blueberries
1 egg yolk
1 to 2 tablespoons coarse white sparkling sugar

Pumpkin Cheesecake with Toffee Chips

1 3/4 cups crushed ginger snap, shortbread cookies or graham crackers
1 T butter
3 – 8 oz pkgs cream cheese
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 – 15 ounce can pumpkin
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 T cornstarch
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla extract, divided
1 cup crushed toffee candies
2 – 8 ounce pkgs sour cream
2 T granulated sugar
