The $5 Dinners Weekly Meal Plan with Printable Grocery List

Scroll down and you’ll see a list of ingredients for each of the recipes included, in the order they are listed above. I’ll include ALL ingredients, including many that you already have in your pantry, refrigerator, or freezer. If you have those ingredients, just don’t click them!

Put a check mark by each of the ingredients, and then print your grocery list and be on your way to the grocery store!

Chicken Fajita Nachos

2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
1 Tbsp olive or vegetable oil
2 or 3 peppers
1 large onion
1 Tbsp homemade taco seasoning, or store bought fajita seasoning
Tortilla chips
1 cup shredded cheese
Salsa, sour cream, guacamole, optional
Fresh fruit, baby carrots or other simple side dish

Italian Pork Chops

1 cup brown rice
4 pork chops (about 1.2 lbs.)
1 15 oz. can of diced tomatoes
1 tsp Italian seasoning
4 corn cobs
Butter for corn – Use dairy-free margarine if necessary!

Mini Barbeque Chicken Pizzas

Homemade Pizza Dough, made whole or as mini-pizzas
2 chicken breasts
About 1 cup BBQ sauce
About 1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 red onion
About 4 sprigs of cilantro leaves
2 cups mozzarella cheese (I used part regular, part dairy and soy free)
Side of fresh fruit

Pizza Penne Bake

1 lb. pasta noodles, such as penne, ziti, mostachioli or other “medium” shaped noodle
3/4 cup pizza sauce
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
About 30 pepperonis
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
About 1 cup pizza blend shredded cheese

Curried Quinoa Chicken Recipe

1 Tbsp olive oil
About 1 1/2 lb. boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 small red onion
2 garlic cloves
1 15 oz. can petite diced tomatoes
1 Tbsp curry powder
1/2 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp nutmeg
2 cups water or chicken broth
1 cup quinoa
1 12 oz. bag frozen peas

Pumpkin Spice Baked Oatmeal

2 eggs
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup canned pumpkin (1/2 of 15 oz. can)
2 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup maple syrup or syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 teaspoon homemade pumpkin pie spice
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup wheat flour
4 cups quick cooking oats

Pumpkin Chai Snickerdoodle Cookies

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 eggs
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg

Rolo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
Enough Rolos for each cookie, about 18
