When it comes to smoothies, I love tossing in fruits and veggies for the boys. Smoothies are a great way to get in those extra servings of veggies. Below I have several recipes which includes veggies.

    New Years Resolutions fail. [1]
Translation: At least 8 times out of 10, you are more likely to fall back into your old habits and patterns than you are to stick with a new behavior.
And what can we do to make positive changes easier?
I don’t claim to have all the answers, but after two years of researching
and writing about the science of behavior change, let me share the most practical insights I’ve learned so
far. It’s New Year’s Resolution time. Behavior
change is hard. What are the biggest reasons new habits fail to stick?

But there are homemade solutions that can help prevent this from happening.

Coming outside to a frozen windshield or ice
on your stairs is one of the worst ways to start the day.
It will keep ice from forming on your windows, and you can also spray the mixture on already-covered windows to melt it quickly.
For car windows and windshields, mist a 3:1 mixture of distilled

90% or 92% failure rate. Ill go with the 81%
failure rate, which comes from a research study by psychology professor John Norcross.

And for those who don’t have wool socks (or don’t want to go out in the cold to
buy them), an easy hack is to put your socks on and then slip your feet into plastic bags.
It looks weird, but it will keep your feet really dry and warm.

Start with a behavior that is so small it seems easy and reasonable to do it each day.
In other words, the most difficult part of a new habit is
starting the behavior. For this reason, one of the best
things you can do for building a new behavior is to start with a remarkably small habit.
It takes a lot of motivation to head to the gym for
a workout after an exhausting day at work, but once you actually begin the workout it
doesn’t take much willpower to finish it. New habits should be non-threatening.

The approach is nothing new: Two years ago,
Dr. This summer LeBron James slimmed down, losing some 15 pounds to ready himself for the upcoming season. “The best way to make the switch at home is in baby steps over the course of a month,” says Shanahan, author of Food Rules, A Doctor’s Guide to Healthy Eating, and Deep Nutrition: Why Your Genes Need Traditional Food.
To get started, stick to Shanahan’s three guiding principles for designing
low-carb meals (or go to her website, drcate. It’s a fast way to lose weight while keeping muscle,
a move that can help prevent injuries and boost energy reserves for players – and everyone else.

Wool in particular is great because it suspends the moisture in the weave, and
can absorb almost one-third of its own weight before making
you feel cold or wet. Merino wool or polypropylene socks are a much better
way to go since these fabrics wick moisture away from skin.

If hes healthy, watch Noel push up the NBAs

theres probably more of it to do in the summer. From festivals and outdoor
concerts to camping and swimming, many people take to the great outdoors this time of year.

If you sweat under your jacket, get wet from the snow, or
if there’s any moisture in the air, the cotton will quickly absorb
it and keep it close to your skin, making you feel even colder.
Avoid Wearing Cotton Cotton clothes and socks are the absolute worst
things you can wear during the winter, because cotton holds

For avid exercisers, summertime often means a chance to get out
of the gym and get those workouts in while enjoying

to stay heat-savvy as you enjoy the hottest months of the year.

Dangers of Heat When it comes to heat-related illnesses,
conditions are generally categorized by severity, with heat stroke – a

Week Four: Low-Carb Your Dinner. You’ve always wanted to eat this
way: roasted, pan-seared, or grilled lamb/chicken/steak/fish,
with copious sauce; heaping helping of vegetables or salad,
