Great idea from The Maureau Memoirs…The zoo animals have escaped and are now eating all the ants on a logs that they can find! 
(I’ve searched high and low for the original link or article and can’t find it (even with my mad googling skillz!). If anyone knows the origin of this lovely (and silly) idea, please let me know! Thx!)

I would use hummus!
Spreadable cheese, guacamole, Sunbutter (made out of sunflower seeds), etc….just some ideas. My little guy is allergic to nuts, so we find other alternatives.

I’m so grateful for the creative people who come up with these fabulous ideas. Sure makes my kids happy when they open up their lunches and find something amazing instead of the typical same old, same old lunch!
