Pacific Natural Food’s Everyday Chef Challenge

I’m an everyday chef.

And so are you.

We’re cooking. Day in. Day out. Because the people in our lives gotta eat!

When my friends at Pacific Natural Foods asked me if I’d like to participate in the Everyday Chef Challenge, I couldn’t say no!  Here’s why…

You know what I’d love more than anything else. I mean it.  I would seriously LOVE this…I’d love for you and I to go together to the Culinary School in Napa Valley, CA for culinary bootcamp!  One of the 5 bloggers participating, and 1 Everyday Chef Challenger (that’s you!) will win an all-expense paid trip to the Culinary Institute of America where you will attend their culinary bootcamp program.

Hello, who wouldn’t want to get their tail kicked in the kitchen?! I know I would!  I would love to learn from the best and add some new cooking techniques to my repertoire.  As everyday chefs, it’s so easy to get stuck in a rut. Cooking the same old thing, using the same old method.

That’s why culinary bootcamp appeals to me…because I want and need to get kicked in the tail!

So if you’re interested in getting your tail whipped around at culinary bootcamp participating with me in this challenge, head on over to the Everyday Chef Challenge website, print off the $1 Pacific Naturals Broth coupon…go get yourself some broth, mushrooms (on Manager’s Special if you can!), and any other ingredients that you may need to test your recipe!  When your recipe is ready, you can submit it into the challenge by clicking on Enter the Challenge and following the steps from there.

First round of recipes are due on Wednesday, September 15th…so hop to it! That’s less than a week.

(Did you catch the secret ingredients…round 1 recipes must use mushrooms and Pacific Naturals broth.) I’ll give you a hint…my recipe will also include pears.  I love that I’m getting to step outside the $5 Dinners box and come up with a few great (still budget friendly) recipes for everyone!

If you are not participating in the challenge, (we)I’d sure love your support! There will be 2 rounds of voting of the next few weeks…and we’re going to need Every. Single. One. of. Your. Votes.

You’ll be able to vote daily.  You’ll be sick of me reminding you to vote daily. And if one of your recipes is in contention for winning, you’ll REALLY be sick of me reminding you to vote daily.
