I’m going to be doing my meal plan a little differently this week. Partly because of the great deals this week at the grocery stores (that I can price match at Walmart), and partly because I wanted to change things up a little this week. I generally rely on what is in my stockpile when making meal plans, as I know the products in my stockpile are as cheap as they come. But this week I thought I’d post a complete plan for the week solely based on advertised sales. It’s a “chicken and meat week” because there are great deals on ground beef and chicken breasts.

Tuesday – El Burgos $1.49/lb ground beef and $2.99/10 lb potatoes, Frozen Veggies ($.88/bag)
Wednesday – Grilled Chicken ($1.88/lb) with Dole Salad ($1.28) and Tomatoes ($.99/lb)
Thursday – Whole Chicken ($.88/lb) with Rice, Cucumber-Dill Salad ($.77/cucumber and $1 sour cream)
Friday – Meatloaf ($1.49/lb) with Baked Sweet Potatoes ($.68/lb) and Frozen Veggies ($.88/bag)
Saturday – Mexican Chicken Skillet Dinner (Using leftover chicken from whole chicken meal) and Rotel ($.87 plus use coupon)
Sunday - Burgers ($1.49/lb) with Buns ($1/bag), Oven Fries ($2.99/10 lb potatoes), Apples (4/$1)
