Tuesday – I don’t know

Wednesday – I don’t know

Thursday – I don’t know

Friday – I don’t know

Saturday – Easter Dinner with Family

No I have not lost my mind! I am trying to regroup from being away this weekend…and I haven’t figured out the plan…YET!  But I will…I have a few more recipes from friends to share this week while I get my act back together.

I love this weeks menu that you have planned. It looks like mine does every week. I try to keep pantry and fridge loaded with things I can throw together quickly. It gives me some flexability when I am not feeling well. (I have a chronic disability) So when I see others who generally have this part of organization down to a science look like mine does, I don’t feel so lame. :->

Not that I don’t love your normal content, but this might be the most encouraging post I’ve seen here! Thanks for the Monday morning laugh. I’m sooo there with you this week!

I’m laughing with you, not at you! :) I always feel like the weeks leading up to holidays are tough to plan for… you don’t want your fridge to be so crammed full of leftovers that there’s no room for the holiday grub, but you also don’t want to find yourself with nothing to eat come next Monday! So far, I have fried chicken, quesadillas, and probably hamburgers on the grill on my menu this week… but I’m still missing a couple of days. :) Maybe a breakfast-for-dinner one night?

LOL! I’m still working on my menu, too. Glad to know I’m not the only one who can’t always get it together by Monday morning!

well, I guess I’ll have to look at archived recipes for tonight. :) I don’t usually meal plan but when things look yummy on your blog (and they usually do) I make them for dinner. Maybe it’ll be a night to break out a tub of frozen soup.

Love the honesty…I’ve got a list of meals, just not assigned to days yet. I best get moving on it otherwise I’ll catch myself paralyzed with fear for not having things in order later this week. I just returned to my part-time work after 4.5 months on bedrest, having a new baby spend some time in the NICU, and 2 & 4 year old boys at home. Plans are necessary for our home to function, but I sometimes start out the week just like yours. Have a great week :)

I love your plan!!! : ) I was cracking up at the computer when I saw it, I tried to explain it to my husband but he just shook his head. : )

A friend and I did freezer sessions, cooking meals for the freezer. We would spend wonderful time together chopping, cooking, laughing, and wrapping. I noticed as she was marking her food to go in the freezer, she marked some ,whatever, some ,I don’t care, and some ,i don’t know. Being curious, I asked what that was all about when the meals were lasagna, caserole type dishes, and taco meat. She said this way she had whatever her husband wanted for dinner, which usually amounted to: I don’t know, I don’t care and whatever.
Was an interesting solution to an age old problem of what’s for dinner.

    Hubby,

Always ask the question what do you recommend that we eat for…..
Sometimes I answer I recommend I get in the kitchen and make us something!
