I’m so excited to be sharing these delicious Black Forest Mini Trifles with you today! As we prepare for the holidays, we are all so busy, this delicious dessert is a perfect addition to any celebration.

I’m Liz and most of the time you can find me baking, decorating, and crafting on Hoosier Homemade. If you are a cupcake lover…Cupcake Heaven is the place for you! And a few months ago, my husband and I launched Pocket Change Gourmet, where we share budget friendly food with a little flair.

Trifles are one of those desserts that I absolutely love to serve. The flavor combinations are endless, they are super easy to create but look very impressive. And they are very budget friendly…a little goes a long way.

After making the Black Forest Whoopie Pies last week, I had a few chocolate cookies left over and whipped up these mini trifles in minutes. They are elegant enough to serve for a Dinner or Holiday Party and easy enough to add a sparkle to a weeknight meal.

I found these little shooter glasses at Pier 1, but I have also used votive glasses, a large trifle bowl and even mini trifle bowls. The ideas are endless.

I hope you have enjoyed the Black Forest Mini Trifles. Thanks so much for having me over today, Erin!

Happy Holidays to you and your family!
