Introducing…The Wisest Kid in the Whole World!

by Erin, The $5 Dinner Mom on September 13, 2013

Isn’t this wise little guy adorable?!? He kinda reminds me of my 8 year old…an old soul, with an adorable kid face! And the dancing, yeah…I would totally do that…

So who is this Wisest Kid in the Whole World?

  • He is a boy. He lives on top of a mountain. Somewhere.
  • He knows all things, but isn’t a know it all.
  • His words can be funny. Or cryptic. Or insightful.
  • But his advice will always surprise and delight you.
  • He lives to do two things: meditate on the secrets to kid contentment. And share those secrets with parents in need.
  • He’s happiest helping parents make their kids happy.

I’m thrilled to be joining Campbell’s Soup this fall, as we help other busy parents learn from The Wisest Kid in the Whole World! I’m also looking forward to helping my boys fall in love with soup! I’ve shied away from serving it to them, as they tend to pick out the noodles and such…leaving all the broth behind in their bowls. But I’m determined to make the love all the slurpy-sloppy-scoopy fun that soup can bring to the dinner table! I’ll keep you posted on my progress throughout the fall and into the winter, when we NEED soup to literally warm our hearts and souls!

I totally want to be that “fun mom” who dances, literally, when her boys tell her how much they love their soup. Except when I picture it, a disco ball drops from the ceiling! :P

What are some of the hilariously wise things your kiddos say?!?

Here’s one from my oldest…as he knows that zucchini and yellow squash are related, but don’t know why he doesn’t like them both!
