The $5 Dinners Weekly Meal Plan with Printable Grocery List

Scroll down and you’ll see a list of ingredients for each of the recipes included, in the order they are listed above. I’ll include ALL ingredients, including many that you already have in your pantry, refrigerator, or freezer. If you have those ingredients, just don’t click them!

Pizza Penne Bake

1 lb. pasta noodles, such as penne, ziti, mostachioli or other “medium” shaped noodle
3/4 cup pizza sauce
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
About 30 pepperonis
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
About 1 cup pizza blend shredded cheese

Green Pepper Chili

About 3/4 lb. ground beef
1/2 red onion
2 green peppers
1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
2 cups cooked black beans
2 cups cooked red beans
2 garlic cloves
1 Tbsp chili powder
Tabasco or hot sauce, optional
Serve with fresh fruit like 1/2 cantaloupe

Savory Slow Cooker Chicken & Butternut Squash

3 small chicken breasts (about 1 1/3 lb.)
2 tsps red wine vinegar
1/2 bag baby carrots, or 4-5 peeled carrots sticks
1 butternut squash
2 tsp Italian seasonings
Serve with whole wheat dinner rolls or toast with butter

15 Bean Enchiladas

15 oz can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp taco seasoning
3 cups cooked beans, recommend 15 Bean Soup Cajun beans from Hurst Beans
1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 1/2 cup mild cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp taco seasoning
12 corn tortillas
2 cups Mexican blend shredded cheese

Gingerbread Baked Oatmeal

1/2 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup dark molasses
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cloves
4 cups quick cooking oats
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
Serve as is or with milk or yogurt

Ham & Broccoli One Dish Breakfast Casserole

4 whole wheat English muffins
2 cups broccoli florets
2 cups leftover ham
8 oz. shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
12 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Orange Cardamom Blueberry Crostada

1 Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crust
1/2 cup Smucker’s® Orchard’s Finest® Pacific Grove Orange Marmalade Medley
2 tablespoons Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
2 cups fresh blueberries
1 egg yolk
1 to 2 tablespoons coarse white sparkling sugar

Fudge Pecan Pie

1 homemade or store bought pie crust
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp dark molasses
1 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
1 stick butter
1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
2 cups chopped pecans
Pecans for top decoration
