The $5 Dinners Weekly Meal Plan with Printable Grocery List

Every week I will post 5 links to archived recipes, plus an additional 1 or 2 recipes for breakfast, snacks or batch cooking recipes.  You can click through to see the original recipe and print that recipe if you like. (Or go green and just come back to this post to get to the recipe.)

A little of this, a little of that and a whole lot of yumminess on this week’s meal plan for y’all! Hope the delicious-ness is enjoyed by all at your dinner table…

Scroll down and you’ll see a list of ingredients for each of the recipes included, in the order they are listed above. I’ll include ALL ingredients, including many that you already have in your pantry, refrigerator, or freezer. If you have those ingredients, just don’t click them!

Pasta with Kale, Lemon, and Parmesan

10-12 kale leaves
1 lb. small pasta noodles, fusili or small shells
2 lemons, juiced and zested
3 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Serve with fresh fruit
Optional: add grilled, sliced chicken to the pasta

Cranberry Chicken and Rice

3 cups cooked brown rice (or 1 cup raw brown rice)
About 1/2 cup of apple juice
3 large chicken breasts
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 bag cranberries
2 Tbsp sugar
Dashes of cinnamon and ground ginger
Serve with veggies like 2 cups cooked butternut squash

15 Bean Pot Pie

3 cups cooked 15 Bean Soup beans (1 bag of 15 Bean soup mix makes enough for 2 batches)
2 cups mixed vegetables
1 tsp onion powder or minced onion
1 can cream of celery soup
2 pie crusts

Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes

1 lb. ground chuck
1 green pepper
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
2 tsp minced onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp vinegar
1 Tbsp prepared mustard
1 Tbsp brown sugar
4 whole wheat buns
4 slices provolone cheese
Serve with fresh fruit and chips

Chicken and Stuffing Skillet Dinner

2 T chopped onions
1 t chopped garlic
1 can Rotel
1 cup shredded chicken
1 15 oz. can whole kernel corn
1 10 oz. bag frozen chopped spinach
1 can Campbell’s Nacho Cheese Soup
1/4 cup milk
1 t Mrs. Dash seasoning
1-14 oz. box or bag stuffing mix

Hearty Ham Breakfast Scramble

1/4 Cup Dairy Free Margarine (or regular)1/2 Cup Onion
1-2 Cloves Garlic
1 Cup Button Mushrooms
1 Cup Chopped Ham
8 Eggs
2 Green Onions
