The $5 Dinners Weekly Meal Plan with Printable Grocery List

Scroll down and you’ll see a list of ingredients for each of the recipes included, in the order they are listed above. I’ll include ALL ingredients, including many that you already have in your pantry, refrigerator, or freezer. If you have those ingredients, just don’t click them!

Cajun Chicken Fettuccine

1 lb. fettuccine noodles
1/2 cup butter or margarine
6 Tbsp flour
3-4 cups milk (depending on how thick/thin you want the sauce)
2 cups cooked shredded or cubed chicken
2 Tbsp cajun seasoning mix
Optional garnish: chopped parsley
Side dish suggestions: Broccoli, green beans

Creamy Avocado Pasta

12 oz. whole wheat thin spaghetti noodles
2 medium avocados
Juice and zest from 1 lemon
3 Tbsp olive oil
2 teaspoons minced garlic, or 3 cloves crushed
Optional: 6 fresh basil leaves
Sprinkles of Parmesan cheese
Serve with fresh vegetables like broccoli heads

Slow Cooker Sweet Potato and Chicken Curry

1 can (15 oz.) light coconut milk
3 teaspoons curry powder
1 pkg (about 1.5 lbs.) boneless skinless chicken thighs
3 medium sweet potatoes
6 carrot sticks
1 small onion

Chicken, Black Bean with Salsa Soup

3 chicken breasts
1 Tbsp canola or vegetable oil
2 Tbsp homemade taco seasoning
2 cups cooked black beans
2 cups cooked red beans
2 cups homemade chicken broth
2 cups frozen corn
1 cup store bought salsa
Couple pinchfuls of cheese
1 avocado

Easy Broccoli and Beef

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 pound thin flank steak
1/2 small onion
2 garlic cloves
4 cups broccoli florets
1 cup carrots
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ginger
Serve with white rice or fried rice

Pumpkin Breakfast Quinoa (Gluten Free)

2 cups quinoa
about 3/4 cup canned pumpkin
1/4 cup brown sugar, or other sweetener
1 Tbsp homemade pumpkin pie spice

Pumpkin Muffins with Cinnamon-Pecan Streusel

1/2 cup + 4 T butter or (dairy-free)  margarine
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsps cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pumpkin puree
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Pumpkin Chai Snickerdoodles Cookies

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 eggs
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
