Messy, Melty, Mississippi Sloppy Joes: Your New Family Favorite?

Meet your new favorite weeknight sandwich. These Mississippi Sloppy Joes pile tangy banana peppers and gooey provolone on top of a rich, savory meat sauce that’s anything but ordinary.

Fair warning: these are called sloppy for a reason…so grab extra napkins.

You can easily make these gluten-free with a frozen gluten-free garlic toast (hopefully your store carries it!) I love easy meals like this that I can put together a gluten-free version without having to make an entirely different meal.

This one is weeknight comfort food that somehow feels a little EXTRA.

  • Homemade Sloppy Joe sauce (if you don’t want to use a can!)
