Sloppy Joe Pasta Bake
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef browned
- 15 oz. can sloppy Joe sauce
- 1 lb. small shell pasta noodles like elbows gluten-free, if needed
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Cook the pasta as directed in a saucepan, to al dente. The pasta will soak up some of the liquid from the chili when it bakes, so don't overboil the pasta!
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet and drain if needed. Pour in the sloppy Joe sauce and bring to bubbling.
- In a 9x13-inch baking dish, combine the cooked pasta and the sloppy joe meat. Top with the shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
- Serve Sloppy Joe Pasta Bake with favorite side salad or veggies.
