Tuna melts are the ultimate budget-friendly comfort food, and they’re even better when made with a $1 loaf of French bread.

Ingredients
- 4 5 oz. cans tuna in water drained
- 1/2 cup sandwich spread or mayonaisse
- 1 French loaf bread
- 8 slices American cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat.
- Slice open the french loaf bread and lay it flat.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the tuna and sandwich spread or mayo. Spread into thin layer on the top of the loaf bread. Add the slices of cheese on top, covering the tuna.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese melts. Slice into smaller bite size pieces and serve. Enjoy!
