Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

Stouffer’s has nothing on this yummy homemade favorite!
Ingredients
1 box elbow noodles ($.97), use rice pasta for GF variety
3 T butter ($.25)
3 T flour ($.02)
1-2 cups milk ($.35)
1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese ($1.25)
Salt and pepper
Leftover butternut squash, cooked and mashed (Free!)

Bacon and Egg Quesadillas

Ingredients
6 strips of bacon ($.65)
6-8 eggs ($1.05)
1 cup shredded cheese ($.84)
8 Tortillas ($1.09), use natural corn tortillas for gluten free
Salsa ($.25)
2 Pears ($1) Lots of pear sales lately!

Creamy Butternut Squash Soup and Baked Chicken

A delicious and nutritious fall soup! I borrowed and slightly modified this recipe! I added apple juice in with the broth and it gave the soup just enough extra sweetness!

Ingredients
1 lb Chicken Thighs ($1.85)
