This Cherry “Dump Cake” is Truly the Best Ever Summer Dessert – At Least We Think So at Our House! Save this 3-Ingredient Recipe and Get It Made This Summer!

How to Make 3-Ingredient Cherry Dump Cake Summer Dessert

Spread the 2 cans of  pie filling into a greased baking dish.

In a bowl, toss together the cake mix and melted butter until crummy topping forms.

NOTE: You can use dry cake mix on top of the pie filling and add pads of butter (without melting it), but the consistency of the cake topping isn’t quite right. I recommend melting the butter and making the crummy cake topping before adding it on top.

Spread the crummy topping into an even layer over the pie filling.

Bake to dessert perfection!

Enjoy!
