Quick After School or Late Night Snack: Air Fryer Tacos
I started making these “by accident” and they quickly became a big hit!
These are the “metaverse” OVEN TACOS that we have started to cook in the air fryer for snacks and such. I have made an entire “meal” for us this way but it takes a few rounds to get them all warmed up and ready to eat.
But usually, these get made with leftover taco meat by whomever wants a quick after school or late night snack (hello teens!)
Air Fryer Tacos
Transform taco night with these perfectly crispy air fryer tacos that deliver all the crunch of deep-fried without the oil!
Servings - 8 tacos

Ingredients
- 8 taco shells
- 2 cups ground beef with taco seasoning perfect for leftover taco meat
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- favorite taco toppings
Instructions
- Using leftover taco meat or browned ground beef with taco seasoning, assemble the tacos by adding the meat into the shells. Create a foil "nest" to place the tacos into so they will stand upright.
- Add as many taco shells with meat that will fit into the nest and into the air fryer insert. Sprinkle the cheese onto the taco meat, so the cheese will melt and seal the tacos together.
- Air fry at 400 F for 3 minutes. Remove from the air fryer immediately, carefully as they will be hot. Add your favorite taco toppings and serve.
