    Oatmeal Raisin Cookies on 5DollarDinners.com

My son Charlie has declared these the perfect Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.

He’s not a fan of chocolate chip cookies. Which I make often. So I find myself making a batch of oatmeal raisin cookies for Charlie and my husband. (Charlie is Steve’s mini-me in so many ways…looks, personality, they are both early bird morning people, they don’t like chocolate chip cookies but do like oatmeal raisin, and the mini-me list goes on…)

Anywhoo…I’ve been working on this recipe for awhile now and finally hit the jackpot. It’s the ground cloves that sets this one apart….

You can freeze extra cookies after you bake them, or you can freeze the dough to bake later.

I have a little problem. I cannot make a meal that costs more than $5. It’s unnatural, but my pocketbook thanks me.
