Sausage Spinach Alfredo
Creamy Sausage Spinach Alfredo combines savory sausage, tender spinach, and a rich, cheesy Alfredo sauce for an easy, comforting pasta dinner.
Servings - 4 servings
Ingredients
- 12 oz. pasta noodles
- 1 lb. ground mild Italian sausage browned
- 6 oz. fresh baby spinach leaves
- 1 Tbsp minced onion
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 16 oz. heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta as directed.
- Brown the mild Italian sausage with the minced onion and minced garlic in a large skillet.
- Once browned, add the fresh spinach in with the sausage and carefully mix it. Stir a few times over 3 to 4 minutes and cook until spinach melts down.
- Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Fold and combine and bring to bubbling. Once bubbling, reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes while the pasta finishes cooking.
- Drain pasta and serve the Sausage Spinach Alfredo over the top of the pasta. Enjoy!
