ALL THINGS COSTCO! Here are my 13 “Dinner Shortcuts” Using Frozen Foods from Costco..

Y’all know I love my freezer meals!

I love them so much that I created another website and web app that allows you to pick the best recipes to make freezer meals in your kitchen – using bulk ingredients from the warehouse store…or any grocery store.

I make 2-3 MyFreezEasy freezer meals a week, and other nights I will throw together what I’ve started calling my dinner shortcuts, and other nights I cook a fresh dinner.

A dinner shortcut is a meal from the freezer, using pre-prepped frozen ingredients.

I love the organic and fresher ingredients and meals from Costco…they are affordable, quick and easy to cook, with great variety of options (as you will soon see.)

Whether it’s a MyFreezEasy freezer meal or a dinner shortcut from the freezer, I generally have them added to my meal plan…but sometimes when I’ve had a change of plans in my day, I love knowing that I have these backup options in the freezer and I can skip the drive thru (and extra costs!)

I love having easy meal options that I can grab and toss in the Instant Pot, or ingredients that I can reheat or cook quickly (below).

Below I’ve put together some great combos of frozen ingredients that work well for quick meals on the fly. There are a few ingredients that are pantry or fridge staples, like: marinara sauce, maple syrup, or pasta.

There are also a few fresh ingredients that I freeze as well, like shredded cheese, bread and buns, chicken burgers (found in fridge case), and brats/sausages (found in fridge case).

If you haven’t yet, definitely take a minute to explore my pre-made freezer meals using ingredients from Costco – these go viral every so often, and you don’t want to miss out on those plans and the grocery savings that comes with them.

And before we get to the list, use this as inspiration…not every store carries each of these products. Use the list to develop your own dinner shortcuts list!

DISCLAIMER: I have no formal relationship with Costco and am not paid by them to share these ideas. I created this list to help myself (and you!) spend less money on groceries, while using up all the bulk ingredients without them going to waste. Hope they help your family as much as they help our family!
