Homemade Salad Dressing: Dijon Vinaigrette

One of my favorite salad dressings that is so easy and less expensive to make myself than to purchase at the store.  (Ignore my Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing bottle in this picture, although you can try my favorite way to make Balsamic Dressing here!)

Dijon Vinaigrette Homemade Salad Dressing

Preparation Time – 5 minutes

Cooking Time – 0 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt/Pepper to taste

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients together and shake well.
  • Refrigerate leftovers.

    I’ve been using a home-made salad dressing for quite a while now and it is simply wonderful–it is great on any salad!
    Just combine equal parts red wine vinegar, olive oil, and lemon juice with salt and pepper to taste. Voila!

    Forgot to mention–add a pinch of dried oregano as well. This is just like the dressing that restaurants use on Greek salad :)
