No recipe from me tonight! But I do want to share a few things that I learned from my dad! He’s whipping up Bacon Cheeseburgers with Tarragon Russian Dressing! {licks lips}
What a treat!!!

I’m really thankful for these 2 tips for grilling burgers that he shared with me!
- Place patties in bowl of ice water for 30 seconds before grilling. Makes them juicier.
- As you place the burgers on the grill, brush them with melted butter/margarine. Makes them tastier. And juicier too!
That’s all I’ve got for tonight…Love for you to share any grilling tips in the comments…and link up your $5 meals!!!
…Here’s Mr. Linky!

I have never heard that. Neither myself, or my husband have much in the way of grilling skills, but I am trying to learn. Thanks for the tip!

Grilled chicken is always more tender when smaller, so opt for kebobs on skewers (marinated is best!) over whole breasts if you have time to cut and skewer them. Italian dressing makes an easy marinade!

He didn’t tell me how he made it! I was working on something else and wasn’t paying attention
I’m sure you could google it and it would come up…It was SORTA like a homemade Thousand Island dressing. Tasted delish on the burgers!!!
