Slow Cooker Mississippi Chicken: A Tangy, Savory Dinner with Zero Fuss!

Slow Cooker Mississippi Chicken

Slow Cooker Mississippi Chicken is a mouthwatering blend of shredded chicken, zesty pepperoncini, savory ranch seasoning, and creamy butter.

Cook Time8 hours hours
Servings - 4 servings

Ingredients 

  • 3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 packet dry Ranch dressing mix or 2 Tbsp
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • 4 Tbsp butter cut into pads
  • 1/2` cup water or chicken broth only if your slow cooker runs hot
  • veggies or salad as side dish

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker insert. Sprinkle with a few pinches of salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken, coating well. Place the sliced pepperoncini peppers and pads of butter on top of the chicken.
  • If needed, add water or chicken broth only if your slow cooker runs hot and overcooks food.
  • Slow cook on low for 8 hours, then shred the chicken and combine with the liquide in the slow cooker. Serve on sandwiches, over rice, or as is.
  • Serve Slow Cooker Mississippi Chicken with favorite veggies or side salad. Enjoy!
