Merissa's Caramelized Onion Dip
- 1 Medium Chopped Onion
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- Place the chopped onion with the butter into a frying pan. Cook on a medium/low heat to slowly caramelize the onions. The onions are ready when they are transparent and brown. Make sure your onions are finely chopped before you cook them.
- In a small bowl, mix the cooked onions with the sour cream and salt. Stir until everything is combined.
- Place in the fridge for at least an hour or two before serving. This dip would be best if made the night before and let sit in the fridge overnight.
