    Instant Pot Jerk Pulled Pork Sliders

    Prep Time5 minutes
    Cook Time40 minutes
    Servings - 4 persons

    Ingredients 

    • 2 lb. pork shoulder roast
    • 3/4 cup hot water
    • Salt and pepper
    • 1/4 cup lime juice
    • 3 Tbsp Jerk seasoning mix
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • 1 tsp ground cumin
    • 1 tsp brown sugar
    • 8 oz. can sliced pineapple
    • 12 slider buns
    • Garnish: sliced green onions
    • Side: fruit
    • Side: chips

    Instructions

    • Place the pork roast into the electric pressure cooker insert with the hot water and season with salt and pepper. Pour the lime juice on and around the pork. Season with the Jerk seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin and brown sugar. Place the pineapple slices over the top.
    • Steam valve: Sealing.
    • Cook on: Manual/High for 40 minutes. Cooking time may vary depending on thickness of the roast.
    • Release: Natural or Quick.
    • Once finished cooking, shred the pork with 2 forks and mix into the sauce. Strain before adding the pork to the sliders. Let the shredded pork sit on warm mode until ready to serve.
    • Assemble sliders by adding the shredded pork and sliced green onion garnish.
    • Prepare fruit.
    • Serve Instant Pot Jerk Pulled Pork Sliders with fruit and chips.
