When’s the last time you tallied up how much you spend on food each month?
Now, I’m not talking about take-out or special occasion dinners – I mean JUST groceries. If you add up all the trips to the supermarket, Costco or Sam’s, and the snack food you grab while at Target, you might be stunned to see that what you thought was a reasonable amount is literally busting your budget!
I know, I know – budget seems like a boring, no-fun kind of word to some people. But you and I know that budgets are an important way to feed your family while staying financially healthy, so you try to stick to one.
Still, with rising prices and the sheer chaos of weekly grocery shopping, it can feel downright impossible to feed your family AND stay on track with your spending!
Maybe you’ve tried meal planning, but then quickly realized it was taking hours of extra effort. I mean, you have to research and choose recipes, inventory what you have in the pantry and fridge, make sure everything you have is still fresh, check what’s on sale, revise your recipe choices, make long and specific lists for each store – and that’s before you even leave the house!
Oh, and then when you get to the store, it can take SO long and feel so crowded and chaotic you end up abandoning the list altogether. “You want a $6 box of cereal? Sure, I guess so. Corn on the cob? Well, it’s not really in season, but I didn’t plan a side for Tuesday yet, so put it in the cart. Fresh squeezed orange juice? Well, it WOULD be nice…”
Next thing you know, you’re at the checkout, you’ve only got half of what you need for this week’s dinners, and the grand total is WAY MORE than you anticipated!
There’s a better way to shop for groceries. There’s a smarter way.
And I want to teach you this system and strategy.
I want to look at each piece to the grocery planning process – break it all down, help you figure out what you’re doing wrong and why you’re spending too much.
This is a proven system and strategy that has saved my Super Savers TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars. (Hundreds of thousands, maybe?)
Here’s what we cover in the 10-week class. (Yes, there’s an express version that is 4 weeks long. Learn more here.)
I want to tell you my story…how this all came to be…and help you decide if this class is right for you!
You can learn more and catch my live on Facebook on Sunday night at 8:30 pm CST, when I’ll share more about the makeover, the different options – Express, Extreme and Classic, and if you need to join our Fall class. And yes, you can watch the replay on the $5 Dinners Facebook page if you can’t watch live.
Finally, on Tuesday I’ll send you a copy of my “Grocery Budget Formula” worksheet so you can figure out how much you SHOULD be spending. This will help you decide if you need my help and need this makeover!
There is much to be learned and I can’t wait to help you cut your grocery spending…for good!
