Homemade Cream Cheese Frosting
This rich and creamy homemade cream cheese frosting blends butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla for a smooth, tangy-sweet topping perfect for cakes and cupcakes.
Servings - 3 cups
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter softened
- 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the frosting by combining the softened butter, softened cream cheese, vanilla, milk and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl or stand mixer.
- Use the whisk attachment on the stand mixer, or the whisk attachments of a hand mixer to get the most smooth frosting. Place in the fridge until ready to frost.
