This tangy, zesty mustard-garlic sauce glazes onto this slow cooked beef roast that shreds to perfection. Enjoy!

Ingredients
2 to 3lb.beef chuck or round roast
salt and pepperdusting
1/2cupwhole grain mustard or spicy brown mustard
2Tbsp olive oil
1tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt and pepper EACH
baked or mashed potatoesside dish
veggiesside dish
Instructions
Place the beef roast into the base of the slow cooker and sprinkle with a dusting of salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, combine the mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix into a sauce. Spoon and brush the mustard sauce directly onto the beef roast, coating the top of it.
Note: If you slow cooker runs hot and tends to dry out food, add 1/2 cup of water or beef broth around the beef roast.
Slow cook on low for 8 hours. Once cooked, cut and shred lightly.
