Make marinara with cans of crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce easily with this yummy recipe.

- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 15 oz. can crushed tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp white sugar to cut the acidity from the tomatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
In a medium saucepan or skillet, whisk together the tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes. Turn heat on high while you add the other ingredients.
Add the olive oil, minced garlic, onion powder, basil, oregano, thyme, and sugar.
Once the sauce bubbles, reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes. Add salt or pepper to taste.
