Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 9x5-inch or 9x9-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugars, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add the eggs, vanilla, melted butter and eggnog. Stir until batter is smooth and creamy.
Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish. Add a dusting on the ground nutmeg on top of the batter.
9x5-inch LOAF PAN: Bake in the preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean in the center. Let cool before slicing and serving.
9x9-inch SQUARE PAN: Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean in the center. Let cool before slicing and serving.
