Stovetop Bacon Cheeseburger Chili

All the best burger flavors snuggled together in a bowl!

Servings - 8 servings

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small white onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 lb. beans
  • 4 cups beef or chicken broth & 3 cups water
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 cups whole milk or heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic powder. Drain and return to saucepan. Stir in the beef broth and beans. Bring to bubbling and reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to allow flavors to mingle.
  • Stir in the cream and HALF of the shredded cheese to the chili and simmer for 10 minutes. Use remaining shredded cheese for garnish. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook and crumble the bacon, if needed.
  • Serve Bacon Cheeseburger Chili with bacon and shredded cheese garnish, and side of veggies.
