Ingredients
1mediumyellow onionchipped
1cupsour cream
1Tbspbutter
1tspsalt
Instructions
Place the chopped onion with the butter into a frying pan. Cook on a medium/low heat for 20-30 minutes, to slowly caramelize the onions. The onions are ready when they are transparent and brown.
In a small bowl, mix the cooked onions with the sour cream and salt. Stir until everything is combined.
Place in the fridge for at least an hour or two before serving. This dip would be best if made the night before and let sit in the fridge overnight.
