SOS Gumbo. Also known as Shrimp, Okra and Spinach Gumbo.

It’s Round 2 of the Everyday Chef Challenge.

And I need your votes again. This weekend I whipped up this most amazing, taste-bud exploding gumbo using the 2 secret ingredients for this challenge…which can be found on the Everyday Chef Challenge site…go take a peek!

This is a traditional gumbo, made with a roux, the gumbo trio of green peppers, onions and celery, along with shrimp, okra and spinach. And of course some broth and the red creamy goodness you see above!

I would love more that anything if you’d head on over and check out the recipe and vote for it too! And while you’re over there, feel free to enter a recipe of your own using the 2 secret ingredients!

    Thanks so much!!!

    xoxo Erin

I have a little problem. I cannot make a meal that costs more than $5. It’s unnatural, but my pocketbook thanks me.
