Welcome to our end of the week recap for February 21-28, 2016!
This weekly recap will be a little different than normal. Before we get to the recipes and other goodies we usually share each week, I have to tell you about the text my sister just sent this morning to the “FreezEasy hotline” – also known as my phone. She appeared to be ‘desperate’ because she first face-timed. Then called. Then texted.
I was sitting in a meeting at that moment and thought that maybe there was something wrong. Thankfully, there wasn’t anything wrong, but she just wanted to know what to do with the whole chicken in her freezer. Specifically she wanted to know how to thaw it. (She’s a doctor and it works out perfectly…we’re always texting each other for advice…me for medical issues and her for kitchen issues!)
So I snuck my phone under the table and grabbed this link for her and texted it back!
I figured if she didn’t know about this technique, maybe you didn’t know that either!!!

“I did it! Last Saturday I purchased the FreezEasy bundle, which is a great deal by the way. On Monday I went shopping, came home, made my own Teriyaki Sauce, BBQ Sauce and Italian-Seasoned Gluten-Free bread crumbs. Tuesday I put together the pork chop meals and Wednesday I put together the chicken meals. It was so easy and I felt so rewarded after I was done. The only bad thing about it being so quick and easy, is now I’m sitting here looking through the other meal plans to see what I can put together and freeze today!”
