Friend. This whole mom gig is TOUGH.
There are SO MANY things to juggle. Just this morning, I was signing up my Charlie for school sports this semester and took one look at the schedule and about had a meltdown. Even though we will carpool, and it’s right after school, and it’s going to be an amazing experience for him and his teammates, it’s yet another thing to juggle.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been consistently looking for the best ways to streamline my home, my business, my schedule, and this thing called ‘self-care.’
I’m a busy mom like you. I have these 4 amazing boys that we’ve been blessed to raise, and I have piles of laundry to deal with every day, and there’s the budget to balance, and the amazing team of women and men who I lead in our businesses.
There’s the calendar to finesse, the photos to organize, the meals to be made (because they have to eat every.single.day.) – and I got your back in the meals department, right!?
There’s also soap operas to watch, and bon-bons to eat on the couch. And day-long trips to the spa, or to your favorite mall. (HELLLO, kidding!!!! I wish…well, maybe not the soap opera and bon-bons part, but a day at the spa sounds lovely!)
It’s a constant balancing act and over time, I’ve slowly figured out how to move through my day and week without feeling completely overwhelmed or that I forgot to do one of the 21,427 things on my to-do list.
One of the keys for me to keep things running smoothly and efficiently is AUTOMATION. I have automated as many things as I possibly can…both in business and in life. Because when they are automated and organized, you don’t have to spend too much energy on them.
And the most important thing you can automate – YOUR MEALS. (Trust me on this one.)
