    The $5 Dinners Weekly Meal Plan with Printable Grocery List

    Scroll down and you’ll see a list of ingredients for each of the recipes included, in the order they are listed above. I’ll include ALL ingredients, including many that you already have in your pantry, refrigerator, or freezer. If you have those ingredients, just don’t click them!

    Put a check mark by each of the ingredients, and then print your grocery list and be on your way to the grocery store!

    Beef Fajita Skillet Dinner

    1 Tbsp olive oil
    3/4 lb. beef for stir-fry
    1 Tbsp homemade taco seasoning
    1 12 oz. frozen pepper and onion blend
    1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes with garlic (or without will work too!)
    6 corn tortillas
    Serve with cantaloupe, watermelon or other refreshing fruit for side dish

    Slow Cooker Hawaiian Chicken

    6 chicken thighs
    6-8 slices canned pineapple, plus 1/2 cup of juice
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
    1 cup brown rice and 1/2 cup rice blend, or 1 1/2 cup rice
    Serve with Red Cabbage Apple Slaw

    Loaded Potato Frittata

    6 slices turkey bacon
    4 medium Russet potatoes
    8 eggs
    1/2 cup milk
    1/4 cup sour cream
    1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    1 bunch green onions
    Side ideas: Clementine oranges, apple slices, bananas, cantaloupe wedges

    Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Shredded Chicken

    1 Tbsp olive oil
    3 limes, juiced
    1 onion
    1 lb. chicken breast
    1 lb. chicken thighs
    Couple garlic cloves
    1/2 bunch cilantro
    1/2 tsp ground cumin

    Chili with Caramelized Onion Cornbread

    Chili Ingredients:

    2 lbs. ground beef
    1 sweet white onion
    4 cups chicken or beef broth
    2 15 oz. cans diced tomatoes with their juices
    1 6 oz. can tomato paste
    1 lb. dried beans, 15 bean mix, red kidney beans, black beans or pinto beans
    3 Tbsp chili powder

     

    Caramelized Onion Cornbread Ingredients:

    1 large sweet white onion
    2 tsp olive oil
    1 Tbsp white sugar
    1 ½ cups white flour
    1 ½ cups yellow cornmeal
    1 Tbsp baking powder
    2 tsp baking soda
    2 Tbsp white sugar
    ¼ cup cooking oil, such as canola or vegetable
    ½ cup applesauce
    2 eggs
    2 ½ cups milk

    Ham and Potatoes Saute with Baked Eggs

    1 Tbsp olive oil
    1/2 bag (28 oz.) frozen diced Potatoes O’Brien
    2 cups ham, diced
    3-4 eggs
    Dash of Italian seasoning for serving
    Side of fresh fruit

    Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookies

    1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 egg
    3 Tablespoons milk
    1 1/2 cups white flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    4 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares (or 1 cup chocolate chips)

      Never been a great cook but I’ve been trying hard lately. Would love to learn these new meals! Also the last time I cooked, the carbonara pasta didn’t look too good. 🙁
