{CLOSED!} Ziploc Vacuum Sealer System {with Target Gift Card} – Win Giveaways

Y’all know I’m all about the frugal and being the best steward of my food dollars that I can be. And that’s why I’m super pumped about this Ziploc Vacuum Sealer. I’ve not had one in the past, and I’m super excited about how this Ziploc Vacuum Sealer will change the way that I freeze food. (And help me save space for what I need to squeeze into the freezer before Cuatro arrives in January!)

Couple benefits of freezer cooking and the vacuum sealer…

  • Money – Purchase in bulk, eat at home, spend less on takeout/dining out!
  • Health – Freezer food in proper portions; homemade meals help you control what’s in the food
  • Preservatives – Bags used with the system have superior strength and barrier for foods in the freezer
  • Reduce Waste – Freeze those leftovers

The Vacuum Sealer Systems include the Vacuum sealer along with large and small rolls that are customizable to fit whatever you’re storing and/or freezing.

The gift package that we’re giving away with the following:

My favorite meal to freeze is casseroles that I can cook when I am short on time. This would be wonderful for that!

this would be wonderful for the chicken I buy from Zaycon foods. I buy 40 lbs at a time, wrap and put in ziploc bags.

I would love this Ziploc Vacuum Sealer. Mine old one died on me and so I haven’t been able to freeze meals for a long while. I used to love to freeze my Turkey Meatballs for Meatball Subs.
    Tureky Meatballs
    1 lb ground Turkey
    1 minced clove garlic
    1 t chopped parsley
    1 t onion powder
    1/4c grated Parm cheese
    1/4c bread crumbs

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl. Once well mixed, take a tablespoon and spoon a T of meat mixture onto palm of hand and roll into a ball. Place on a lined cookie sheet, placing each about 1 inch apart. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. When ready you can place in a pot of your favorite marinara sauce then serve in a hotdog bun….top with a bit more pram cheese and enjoy.

I tend to freeze chicken breasts a lot since its often cheaper to buy the family value packs than it is to buy a few breasts.

I like to freeze chopped veggies for cooking (onions, celery carrots) for cooking. Great time-saver!

  7. Gail A. says

I receive the email newsletter. I freeze basically everything which allows me to buy groceries on sale.

  8. Lori G says

I really like to freeze my meats that I buy in bulk as well as casseroles that I prepare ahead of time.

  9. Lia says

We love to freeze spaghetti sauce. If we find meat/sauce on sale (which happens pretty frequently at our local Kroger), we make a ton and freeze it and it unfreezes and tastes just as good as new! :)

  10. Sarah G says

I like to freeze soups and casseroles. Also, I like to cook and cut up and freeze chicken to make all sorts of dinners!
