On rainy days we like to do simple craft projects and we always like to make greeting cards. Then when another rainy day comes we take our crafts and cards along with small treats to assisted living homes in the area because the residents always enjoy these visits which some don’t have very often. It brings a smile to their faces and just tugs at my heart. Just by doing something so little it can be a real highlight n in their day, with hardly any real effort on our side.
We like to make a special place with sheets chairs, table(fort, tent, rdg, area, nap mat) make popcorn and do lots of make-believe.
We like to build forts with tunnels and use our flash lights to search for tickle monsters.
My kids love using watercolor paints. It’s a simple project with little mess.
We love to do crafts based on the holidays, ie: during Thanksgiving break next week we will be working on ornaments for our christmas tree:)
