I recently had the opportunity to try out the Wal-itin allergy medication that is part of the Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products. I already take this medication through the spring and summer months, so I was excited to add more to my medicine cabinet!
A few important things you should know about the Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products…
- They are a great value! With the rising cost of health care, you can spend less on over-the-counter medications can really benefit a family’s budget.
- They are Walgreens pharmacist recommended.
- Most contain the same active ingredients as other national brands.
- And they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
And now a few practical things about Wal-itin….
I have been a seasonal allergy sufferer for years. As long as I can remember, really. First fighting pollen in South Texas, then North Texas, then the mold in the Dominican Republic, and now the oaks in Ohio.
The first time I ever had skin testing done for allergies to grasses, trees, weeds and molds, both of my forearms blew up. I tested highly allergic to everything the put on me. There was not one spot on either of my arms that did not react to the allergen. *sigh*
I remember having an allergy attack as a pre-teen on a campout. Go figure that our tent was under an oak tree.
Over the years I have tried and tried different allergy medications, done the shots regimen and the raw local honey thing, but when it comes down to it and I need relief…I use Wal-itin, or Claritin. I prefer the Wal-itin because it’s usually cheaper than the name brand, even after sale and coupon matchups. If you have don’t a price comparison for yourself for over-the-counter medications in your medicine cabinet, I encourage you to do so. You might be surprised at the savings!
And not only do I get to spend less on medications, but my purchase also supports bringing preventive wellness services to local communities through the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™.
- Walgreens will contribute up to $3 million annually to the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™.
- The Walgreens Way to Well Fund™ will provide free preventive health tests as well as other health and wellness services and education to local communities.
