So we all remember how I lost my voice just days before going on The View. I went to visit a doctor to get some steroids for my vocal cords and he said to me…this laryngitis is not allergy related, but I can tell you that if you suffer from grass allergies, you are going to want to start taking your medicine right now.

I took his advice and started my daily dose of Wal-itin to get me through this grass season. I prefer Wal-itin over the name brand because it is cheaper…even with a coupon for the name brand. I buy it in “bulk,” or in the larger bottles, as that is cheaper per pill as well.

Stephanie June 14, 2011 at 11:18 pm: I missed the giveaway but wanted to say that I’ve been taking Zyrtec for years, and when they went OTC, I was bummed, because we have a pretty good prescription plan. Anyway, even at walmart, I found they were pretty expensive: $18 for 45 tablets (I, too, take them every day). But if anyone uses CostCo (like BJ’s), they have Kirkland brand Zyrtec $17.99 for 365 tablets. BEST DEAL EVER lol
