Wild Rice Stuffing with Pears, Cranberries and Creamy Rosemary Mushroom Sauce!

That’s it.

That’s my recipe for round 1 of the Everyday Chef Challenge. Pacific Naturals Broth, Mushrooms, and a host of other ingredients make up this new (and what will soon become a favorite Thanksgiving dish) meal. To see the complete recipe (and print it too), head on over to the Everyday Chef Challenge site.

First, I’d love for you to go over and see my inspiration for this recipe…I’m sure you won’t be surprised.

Second, I’d love (and I might even beg…see below) for you to vote for my recipe in the challenge!

And it makes for delicious lunch leftovers…no need to reheat…a perfect cold rice salad!

So…this is the part of the campaign where I get down on my knees and beg. And plead.

Please vote for my recipe.

Pretty please. Pretty please, with some sliced green onions on top. I mean, cherries on top!

Vote. Vote. Vote.

(It takes 2 seconds. A click here. A click on the Vote button. No registration required or hoops to jump!)

And while you’re over there voting for your favorite recipe…feel free to enter the challenge yourselfYou could win a free trip to Culinary Bootcamp in Napa Valley is on the line!!!

Thanks, thanks, thanks!

Voted! Looks delicious! I’ve never worked with wild rice, but I might have to try it out…

It’s very similar to brown rice…in terms of cooking it…and it brings so much flavor and texture! Hope you enjoy working with it Allison!

Just FYI– it wouldn’t let me vote until after I had added a comment. So don’t give up! Just leave a comment and you can vote!

Thanks for not giving up Aubree! They are aware of the voting issue and are working on it!

Erin—I’ve always loved your site, but now more than ever—I’m having to adopt a gluten-free diet and your recipes have been awesome inspiration!

Great Michelle! It’s a tough switch…but as soon as you figure out how to base meals around brown rice, quinoa, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and use rice flours for sauces, etc…it’s much easier to “cope” with the switch…good luck!!!
