VeggieTales Gift Pack – Holiday Giveaway

by Erin, The $5 Dinner Mom on November 18, 2013

Tyler Veggie Tales

Tyler helped me open this box. Poor thing thought that he would find a birthday present inside. (He turned 4 on Saturday. Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that he’s already 4.) Instead he found a book…not only about Veggie Tales, but also about Christmas. He asked if it could be a birthday present anyways, and I said, “Sure!”

He loves his new book and we’ve already listened to Larry’s silly songs once through in the car. I’m waiting until after Thanksgiving and we’ll watch the Merry Larry movie on a Friday night, with some dairy-free hot cocoa and popcorn.

Here’s what’s included in the Veggie Tales Gift Pack:

We love Veggie Tales at our house…and even our 8 year old is excited about the movies and I catch him cracking smiles at the songs in the car too. Oh, and Cuatro (already 1o months old!) can’t get enough of the flaps in the Christmas Countdown book!

My favorite Veggie Tales memory is when some friends of ours delivered a movie and popcorn package to our daughters when our youngest was recovering from hip surgery. It was so sweet and loved!

I would love to win this for my 2 boys. Our favorite Veggie Tales is “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything”. My 4 year old loves pirates and asks to watch this often.

I love Boyz in the Sink CD we have. I also like the Bible Heroes dvd, it has kids giving their interpretation of the stories.

sandra November 18, 2013 at 8:03 pm

I would give this to my niece who has 5 kids…..when I was a nanny we lived for Veggie Tales. I also worked in the local elementary school and coached the neighborhood swim team. One year for our school variety show a group of my swim team kids did our version of The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything. Even as an adult, VeggieTales has stuck with me. 3 1/2 years ago my husband suffered (an survived) a massive stroke. While he was in a coma and the dr was telling me to expect the worst…in my head I kept hearing God Is Bigger (than the Boogie Man). Later a friend sent me the CD and I still listen to it all the time
