There were 3 diaper genie for $3 each at a yard sales. I bought all 3 and asked for a discount. I end up paying $5 for all 3. I put one in each bathroom.

Many of the best deals are found on Black Friday. Carters does some awesome specials, and so does Babies R Us. We got our crib and changing table half price last Black Friday.

I am pregnant with our second child. I have been given 3 previous used cribs with mattress from friends and family. They are free and in great condition. ( I only need 1 crib so the other 2 will be donated to a pregnancy support clinic.) When I was pregnant with my little girl, I was given 10 trash bags full of gently used clothes (ranging from newborn to 18 months) from friends and family. Each time, these items have been given to me out of the kindness of their hearts. When possible, allow your friends and family to give you free items for your baby.

My husband and I are having our first baby, so this book would be perfect for us! I follow her blog to find good diaper and wipes deals to stock up for when he gets here. We are also borrowing baby clothes from friends who had boys last year, so every little bit helps!

I recently purchased a Fisher Price toy that was originally $45 at Target for $13! And my grandaughter loves it!

While pregnant with my first daughter, I found a gently-used brand name crib mattress at a garage sale. It sold for more than $100 new, in store. My price (after bargaining) was only $8. We still have it and will be using it again this fall with baby number 3!

I haven’t started using cloth diapers. But Iwanted to. I just didn’t want to pay 17 to 25 or however much per diaper. So I made 2 so far for about 50c each.

I lucked out one time in Old Navy’s in-store clearance section, got some really cute pieces at $0.97 each. The best big-ticket deal I got was on our First Years True Fit Car Seat, snagged it on Woot exactly when we needed it. But the VERY best deals I got were things friends/family handed down for free when their kids outgrew them.

Patricia May 1, 2012 at 10:35 pm

I get a teacher discount on books and was able to get half off brand new musical baby books.

Type “Baby Freebies” into any search engine and you’ll be suprised what you can find. Also, call the “1-800″ telephone #’s listed on the product label and ask what they can provide for new or expecting parents!!

I recently found a almost brand new exersaucer for my pregnant sister at a yard sale for only $5.

Staci A May 2, 2012 at 11:05 am

We’ve been really lucky that with both kids friends have given us their hand me down furniture. But the best deal I’ve found was on diapers. I stocked up on 4 months worth of diapers for our little guy for dirt cheap when the Huggies were clearanced at CVS last summer.

Staci A May 2, 2012 at 11:05 am

I get your emails. Thanks!

Jen May 2, 2012 at 11:27 am

my best baby deal ever was a bulk pack of 120 newborn pampers swaddlers diapers for $8.62!!

Becky May 2, 2012 at 12:46 pm

My biggest save has been on clothes. I refuse to pay more than $1 per item.

Lori Bean May 2, 2012 at 1:09 pm

Best deal we’ve found so far was quite by accident. I love going to Kohl’s just to look at the clearance rack. Early on in our pregnancy we found that Kohl’s carried the Baby Bullet — we love our Magic Bullet — and we would continue to check back to wait for their 30% sale. We came back in a few weeks, and it wasn’t just 30% off; it was 90% off. Because they had limited supply left we walked out with a $90+ item for $9.99!!!

Janice May 2, 2012 at 3:45 pm

I go to the local swap meet and buy diapers and wipes! They are considerably cheaper than buying retail. I also love going to thrift stores and finding great bargains.

Jenny May 2, 2012 at 3:51 pm

My best deal was on 2nd stage baby food. Our new bargain grocery store had some on sale for $0.45 each (I used to get excited about 10/$10) and I had a $1.00 off 4 and $1.50 off 6! YAY!

Ellen May 2, 2012 at 3:51 pm

My best baby deals always come from reading great baby deal blogs, keeping my eyes open, and accepting any freebie any person or company is willing to hand out. We are definitely not brand loyal!

Kristen May 2, 2012 at 7:55 pm

Best baby deal? Receiving clothes/ baby gear from friends whose kids have already outgrown them!

Efe May 3, 2012 at 1:12 am

I got my baby dresser and changing table from Craigslist for $40, it was an Ikea dresser, it works perfectly!

LB May 3, 2012 at 10:17 pm

My best bargain was back in the amazon mom days, with the free shipping and coupon codes and percent off… I got some cheap and free diapers!!
