Slow Cooker Beef Taco Meat {from Rachel}

by Erin, The $5 Dinner Mom on February 21, 2012

Yesterday it was slow cooker chicken taco meat…today, bring on the beef!

This is from Rachel on Facebook…

Chuck roast on low for 8 hours with Montreal Steak seasoning and onions, shredded for tacos =)

So simple, I love it! You could also use taco seasoning instead of Montreal Steak seasoning. Just sprinkle enough to lightly coat the roast before you cook it. Enjoy!

Thanks Rachel!

You’re welcome! And yes, you can use taco seasoning instead. My son just prefers it this way. I am wanting to try it with the home made taco seasoning you shared with us =) We are waiting on a pork roast that is in the crock pot right now! Covered in taco seasoning. YUM!

We make filling for roast beef burritos this way! I add refried beans to stretch the roast, plus cream cheese and diced tomatoes (usually with green chiles).
