made this tonight... added my veggies (squash and onions) into the dish. the potatoes did come out a little under-cooked, next time I will either put them on the bottom or just on top of the chicken with the veggies on top. make sure to add plenty of garlic for flavor. I also really like balsamic so I added a good amount of that too. I will definitely be making this again!

I just tried this recipe for dinner. The potatoes came out hard and the dinner wasn't very flavorful. Maybe the potatoes need to be baked or boiled a bit before hand? The chicken came out nice and tender, but very bland :(

I love the $5 dinner for my husband and I, but we both come from a very large family. So how can I stay in a reasonable budget when I cook for them, but still make something tasty and different?
