I don’t know what went wrong, but the mashed potatoes turned to potato soup in the oven. Maybe because I used pork steaks instead of pork chops. Still, we rescued it by adding instant mashed potatoes, and it was delicious!

My children who are confirmed meat-eaters loved this recipe. At first I thought the potatoes and mushrooms were just be left on the plate but surprisingly they ate all, the pork chops , potatoes , broccoli and mushrooms ( in that order) . I was pleasantly surprised when they wolfed- down the mushrooms.
