We’re back this week with more daily giveaways of my One Dish Dinners Cookbook! So I was at my sister’s baby shower this past weekend (so excited for her to be a mom!), and a friend of ours asked me which is my favorite book. Which, of course, is like asking which of the boys is my favorite child. There’s not an answer to that…they all have personalities of their own, as do each of the books.
The first cookbook is the “smarty pants” cookbook because it has all the meaty, juicy information for stretching your grocery dollars to. the. max. The second cookbook will help you all throughout the day, breakfast, lunch and snack-time. And this cookbook is so, so, so practical. It’s the super fun and creative, but logical-practical child…if we have to put a personality on it.
The One Dish Dinners cookbook is for every busy home chef, moms and dads alike, who are struggling to come up with creative dinner ideas that won’t cost an arm and a leg, AND that won’t leave a ginormous mess in the sink!
With this cookbook, you’ll have more variety on the dinner table, meals that please your family, more money in your pocketbook, less time in the kitchen and way less mess to deal with at the end of the day!
I’ll be giving away 10 copies each day this week, but they are only “live” for 24 hours. You can enter up to 5 times on each giveaway. Please leave separate comments for your separate entries!

My favorite way to save time AND money is to plan, plan, plan. I sit down each week and look at our calendar. How many dinners are we eating at home? Who needs to take a packed lunch and which days? What do I have in the fridge that needs to be used up? I make a menu plan and shop based on that, and make sure I have all of my recipes at my fingertips and any advance prep noted on my calendar. Truly keeps me organized!

I save time and money by buying meat in bulk and separating it to freeze. Also, cutting it up (chicken) before I freeze it.

Batch cooking! For example, make a huge vat of rice in the rice cooker, and then divide it up into freezer bags for quick re-heating for busy week-night meals.
